By accessing this website and/or placing a request, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions. 1st Choice Spares UK Ltd are unable to accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any parts purchased via this network, or for any damage or loss that may result from their subsequent use.
Customers will only be contacted if their required part(s) are in stock and available for dispatch within 24/48 hours
Changes in delivery times will be notified to the customer as soon as is reasonably possible.
Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of "Satisfactory Quality" unless specified at the time of sale
Parts will carry a minimum guarantee of 30 days and only parts shown on your invoice/receipt are covered by the guarantee/warranty.
Engines: Customers must state if ancillaries are required. If request has been made, stating complete engine wanted, this means head, block and sump, it does not mean with ancillaries as these may be sold separately.
Please note all parts supplied, are marked with the supplying dismantlers stamp/initials, removal of these marks will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
No parts may be altered, modified or dismantled in anyway (except for routine service adjustment) without prior permission of the supplying member. Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
All goods should be inspected upon delivery before signing to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign, refuse delivery & contact the breaker within 1 working day. This is to ensure that if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company.
In the event that the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods sign the Delivery Note to obtain them, but delete any wording in the signature box to the effect that the goods were 'Received in good condition'.
In the event that a part(s) are supplied and prove to be incorrect or faulty upon fitting, the supplying member must be notified within 48 hours. Collection can then be arranged, if a replacement is not available then a full refund will be offered.
In the event that a part is supplied as ordered but the customer had ordered incorrectly, the dismantler must be contacted immediately and the part returned to the dismantler within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer. The dismantler will refund the customer but may charge a carriage and packaging fee.
Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods to the supplying network members premises.
All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cam belt/chain and filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
Gearboxes must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
Please ensure all goods are checked thoroughly before being signed for. as refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit. The words unexamined or unchecked on the delivery note/docket are not acceptable. Members of the network will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as in good condition.
To avoid sending unwanted text quotes, either to those customers who wish to only speak with suppliers over the phone or if a mobile number is entered incorrectly, we send a free message to inform you that quotes are ready to be sent. When ready to receive them, you simply reply with a text containing the word NOW. This verifies your request to receive quotes by Text and the single text charge of £1.50 to cover the cost of providing this service. Once a mobile has been confirmed in this way, you are also allowed to make unlimited new or repeat requests with ALL subsequent text quotes sent to you for a further 2 days, without any additional charge. In the event you should use the service again to locate spares after the 2 day period has expired, a new text charge of £1.50 will be made but you will of course have a new 2 day period to make new or repeat requests, receiving all subsequent text quotes in that period without further charge.
Please note all members of the network are independent from 1st Choice, therefore we do recommend that you make a note of the telephone numbers and names of the company(s) that you receive quotations from as we will not be aware of all members who have made contact in relation to your enquiry. We do however recommend that you contact us to confirm, that any supplier that has made contact with you, is a registered 1st Choice member.
The customer and supplier shall hold the 'introducer' (1st Choice) harmless in and from all claims, liabilities, damages and detriments not arising from the introducers’ actual negligence or malfeasance.
